RE: Camping with a dog . . . is it hard to do

Dogs are:
-Inconvienent
-Needy
-Unwelcome in places
-(your gripe here)
After all the "trouble", I would never, ever, ever leave my buddy behind! He makes camping special, and fun! He's part of the family and it wouldn't be camping without him.
If the location doesn't allow dogs, we just don't stay there. We may miss out on a few places, but it's no contest for having Hershey with us!
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." -Anonymous

RE: Thinking of getting Goodyear Silent Armor tires

I put Silent Armors on my '04 Titan it made a HUGE difference in towing performance! They wore like iron and I wish I could have taken them with me on my '08 Titan. I would not hesitate to put them on when my stock Goodyear SR-A'a!

RE: Prodigy Brake Controller Install

The only wires that need to be 12g are those feeding the brake controller and the one blue one that goes back to the brakes. The others (ground and signal) can be a lot lighter.
I'd agree with that.
Ditto. I did buy the pre-made connector from CW to replace my old connector when I bought my '08 Titan recently. Kinda weird, but the max I could get on the old Titan was 12. Now I can get 13. Better wires? Or just a better setup? Who knows, but it works awesome!

RE: dog suckling on pillow?

Hmmm... And I thought my goof Lab Hershey was only one who did this!
Hershey, my 8yo Chocolate Lab (who is eating popcorn with the DW at the momemt!) loves to cuddle and suckle with this big, fuzzy green ball/ toy of his! We did adopt him at a young 6 weeks, but good Lord, he loves to eat! So weening was not a problem.
Maybe the behavior is kinda like cats kneeding their paws when they are content?
Treats all around!

RE: Problem with my Lab, need help/advice

This sounds a lot like our Hershey when he was on his pain meds. It turned out he was "halucinating" from the narcotics. Boy did he act strange! We only use non-narcotic pain meds and he has not had an episode. Good luck and keep us informed!

RE: Trouble stopping w/Prodigy and WD hitch

Check your boost setting. I use B1 for city traffic and B2 for highway. If I forget to switch back to B1, it will buck in traffic a lot like you mentioned! Good luck!

RE: Sept. sales tank, Chrysler is down, but has lots of company

Yup thing are bad for the makers.
"Despite the most generous incentives of the Japanese automakers, Nissan North America took the biggest hit of the Big Six. Combined Nissan and Infiniti sales tanked, coming in 36.8 percent behind September last year."
I was one of the few that bought a new TV in September, and I could tell they were hurting. I was the only customer in the dealership that long, lonely Thursday. But I did get a smokin' deal on my new Titan!
If you're in the market, and you can spare the $$, now is a great time to buy.

I usually pull my TT outa the back yard and onto the street without my EQ bars on. I think you're ok as long as you weren't bottoming out your suspension.

RE: Anyone tow with Nissan Titan CC

Another Titan owner here!
I recently traded my '04 SE Crew 4x4 for a brand spankin' new '08 LE Crew 4x4.
Can't say enough good things about the Titan! It's a great rig! Gobs of torque and a great 5 speed auto. Do a search and you will get more info you can handle!
I tow an '06 Jayco Jayflight 29 FBS. Just shy of 8000# loaded. The Titan handles the load very well!

RE: GM "Employee Pricing"

There are incredible deals to be had. Haggle, bargain, threaten... The dealers are desparate! I picked up an '08 Nissan Titan LE Crew Cab 4x4 for $26500 plus tax, Sticker was $40k.
I was the ONLY customer in the dealership that day.
